The Minister of People’s Power for Defense, G / J Vladimir Padrino López, made a report, after the deployment of the Republic Plan in the framework of the municipal elections this Sunday, December 10, ensuring total success in the operations of the agencies of security for the protection of the electoral centers and the people.
“It has been a successful day, a brave journey of the people of Venezuela, a deeply democratic day, and we applaud from the FANB all the effort that the National Electoral Council has made (…) the entire schedule of activities and of course all that it has been planned by the Operational Strategic Command (…) it has been a resounding success (…) there is much to celebrate”, he said.
The Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB A / J Remigio Ceballos highlighted the success of the organization by the military institution, in order to guarantee peace and public order in the national territory.
“It should be noted that it was executed impeccably. All the FANB deployed throughout the country fulfilling specific tasks (…) we were able to contribute again to guarantee the right to vote of Venezuelans in free, secret, universal and direct elections”, he said.
For his part, the Minister of People’s Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Nestor Reverol, was satisfied with the deployment of security throughout the country, guaranteeing the right to peace and democracy, and in turn congratulated the Venezuelan people for its participation.
“We want to congratulate the people of Venezuela, who today took to the streets to exercise their political right, but above all those of us who bet on peace and a future without violence. In our country there are strengthened institutions; a transparent and trustworthy electoral system and under the protection of our beloved FANB, we were able to guarantee peace and nurture our participatory and protagonist democracy”, he said.
