A single challenge to all the writings submitted to the National Electoral Council, corresponding to the last electoral process of October 15, met the parameters established in article 206 of the Electoral Processes Act, as informed the CNE’s rector, Tania D ‘Amelio.
In order to carry out a challenge, must be identified the board, the voting center, the municipality and the state where the numerical inconsistency was recorded, in order to determine if you are in the presence of a (electoral) crime.
During an interview with VTV’s “Encendidos” (Turned On) program, the rector pointed out that the requests introduced before the electoral entity did not comply with the parameters established in the regulations governing the matter, so that these processes became a “political show” .
“They have performances that they know are wrong and that is called supine ignorance, that is, you know what you are doing but you do it anyway, so therefore if they do not comply with the parameters of the challenge this can not be admitted. “
