The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, informed that as of Thursday, the law for the fixing of agreed prices will come into force, in order to defend the people from speculation on prices.
“Now, who is going to apply the law?, the Constituent (Assembly), the Revolutionary Government with the control we are doing and the people in the streets”.
He called on the people to deploy to enforce this law in all shops and establishments in the country.
“I authorize the people to apply the law in all parts of the country with their organizational strength (…) let’s not bear it anymore. No, we’re not going to bear it anymore with the thieves in the streets. Enough of that, I put myself at the forefront of this fight, but the people must conuer it on the streets”, he said.
