The time has come for a new stage in the construction of productive economic socialism

“I am convinced, I have total certainty in my heart, that the time has come for a new stage to accelerate the construction of productive economic socialism”.

This was expressed by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during an event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution, upon the arrival of a march of workers to Miraflores Palace.

He commissioned the Minister of People’s Power for Labor, Néstor Ovalles, and the Minister of People’s Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Wilmar Castro Soteldo, for the construction of this new stage.

He announced that next Tuesday will be held a National Congress of the Productive Workers Councils (CPT) so that these entities present a plan for productive socialist development in the 800 key companies in the country.

“I convene for the National Congress of Workers Productive Councils (CPT), I want to see the leading men and women’s faces, I want to see the experiences (…) Because the great instruments we have in the dimension of socialism in the economic scope are the Productives Councils of Working men and women”, he said, adding that it is necessary to strengthen the CPT, and recalled that Venezuela has spent several years in the idea of the construction of productive socialism.

The Head of State pointed out that it is necessary the development of the productive forces of the country as the only way to end the economic war.

“The entire distributive, marketing and pricing process is rotten, we have to build it again and that can only be done in a revolution that bases its power on the power of the workers, in the power of the people”, he sentenced.
