After receiving an anti-imperialist mobilization in the Miraflores Palace, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that the US President Donald Trump, “Today has threatened him to death”.
He said that the US Government has been responsible for promoting a smear campaign against the Revolutionary Government to accuse him of dictatorship and to justify any fascist act, such as a coup d’etat, and even the assassination of the National President.
“They say that in here there is a dictatorship, to justify anything the right wing is doing, to justify a coup d’état, to justify the illegal measures of sanctions that they have taken, to justify killing the President of the Republic and say that they killed him because he was a dictator”, he added.
In that sense, he warned Trump’s Government that, if one day the integrity of his person is attacked “He would repent for 100 years, because the people would rise against imperialism, throughout this Latin American and Caribbean continent”.
“You must know that Nicolas Maduro will continue commanding here, standing up with this people, and we will defend peace and we will conquer life through peace and sovereignty. Nothing or nobody will be able to defeat us, you may have the absolute certainty. I commend myself to God, I commend myself to the people, and I know that we will continue overcoming through this path of independence, of socialism, of the good Homeland”, said the Head of State.
