The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, pointed out that Venezuela no longer depends on the United States because it has strong relations with China, Russia and India, which represent the new emerging powers.
«China is the world’s first economic superpower, it is the great engine of the world economy, and our relationship is one of cooperation, understanding, a win-win one. Russia is the largest nation in the world in territorial extension, and Venezuela has relations of respect, cooperation with it. And India is one of the great engines of development and our relationship is also one of respect», said the National Leader.
In that sense, he stressed that: «Venezuela aspires to be respected because we respect the whole world, and we do not demand from anyone to submit to any way of being, no one can aspire to impose their model».
The National President said that he will soon visit India to consolidate the energy relations between both nations.
