Jaua: Venezuela came out to defeat the world’s oligarchies

“Venezuela came out once agains to defeat the oligarchies of the world”, said the coordinator of the Presidential Commission for the National Constituent Assembly, from the Bolívar Square in downtown Caracas.

“If they step on us on one side, we rise up on the other, and today we have risen with dignity with force, with joy we have defeated death and violence … but above all with a deep respect for our national independence. We the Venezuelans are not to be told by anyone what we have to do, it will not be the imperialist government of the United States”.

Jaua also noted that the Bolivarian people gave an example of democracy.

“We the Bolivarians have defeated the Santanderians (…) to those who ended with The Great Colombia. Today we the Venezuelan men and women can proudly say we are more Bolivarian than ever, because we have risen up with the flag of the dignity, of independence and sovereignty”. He said.
