Venezuela emerges victorious from OAS by not succumbing to imperial interests

Venezuela closed with a flourish its participation in the Organization of American States, OAS, with the promotion of 10 projects of resolution for the benefit of the peoples of the hemisphere.

During a press conference, the Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, explained that these projects seek to promote the principle of non-intervention and the strengthening of institutions within the OAS: “So that the countries that are still part of the organization may count on an organization that works, and whose Secretary General respects the rules and does not lash against the sovereign countries”.

Rodriguez expressed her satisfaction for the victory obtained within this organization, not allowing  to succumb to the interests of US imperialism.

“We depart being more sovereign, more independent, and we will never return to an organization that is used as an instrument for the submission of peoples by the hegemonizing country in our continent,” she assured.
