President Maduro called on youth to awaken the historical awareness

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, manifested on Thursday the need for the Venezuelan youth, whose genes revolt against injustice and revolutionary character, to rise and awaken the historical consciousness.

From the Ayacucho Hall of the Presidential Palace of Miraflores, Caracas, the National President recalled that in the past, during pre-Bolivarian Governments, Venezuelan youth were invisibilized and were the target of aggression and violence, and the main victims of disappearances and State terrorism, and therefore he remembered Noel Rodríguez, an economy sciences student at the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) who was kidnapped and disappeared.

There were more than 3,000 young victims of disappearances, which is why the youth of today “Must have an awareness of the history that is being lived here,” he said.
