I want dialogue and I will continue working to achieve it

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said he wants dialogue and will continue working to achieve it.

The Head of State expressed that he hopes that the Board of Democratic Unity (MUD) “in the midst of the great mistakes they have made, may have the courage and an option to sit down at a table of dialogue and talks … and stop their violent attacks on the social life of the Venezuelan men and women”.

During an activity with the military personnel who have contrived to contain the violent events caused by the opposition, the national leader ratified his confidence in the dialogue as the way to achieve stability and peace in the country.

“I believe in dialogue, I believe in elections, I want them to develop in the best climate of participation, but let’s not lower our guard, nor for a single second, because they are not ruling here”, he said.

He said that there are 45 officers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces wounded by firearms, as well as 252 wounded by blunt objects.

“That opposition leadership that unleashed this madness does not know what to do, some for pride, for money and for complying with orders from abroad, they keep their increasingly failed calls, and others, having a vision of that we must return to the field of politics and elections, do not dare to say a single word in public, because then it would fall over them the violent pack that has attacked you and that has killed so many Venezuelans in these nine weeks”, he concluded.
