Head of State defines seven key strategic lines to consolidate Communal Power in 2026

The President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro announced the seven strategic lines that will guide the Popular Government’s management during 2026, with the aim of expanding and consolidating Communal Power as a model for the transition to socialism. The announcement was made during the National Popular Government System Review, in the presence of the Ministerial Cabinet.

The strategy for the coming year focuses on mobilizing the 5,336 Communal Circuits, implementing the 42,688 projects resulting from the recent National Popular Consultations. This roadmap prioritizes direct democracy, the territorial economy, and the integral defense of the nation.

Among the announced lines is highlighted the expansion of participation in popular consultations to strengthen direct democracy and thus consolidate public works. Will also be strengthened the Planning System and the actions of the communes through the 1×10 Communal method of Good Governance.

The president instructed the activation of Self-Government Halls to establish an effective community self-governance system. In parallel, the communal economy will be boosted by strengthening communal banking as a territorial financial system for local production.

The network of social missions will have a direct expression in the Socialist Mission Bases and in the Self-Government Halls. In terms of training and communication, greater coordination with the University of the Communes was ordered to defend the truth about the country nationally and internationally.

Finally, will be strengthened the Peace Quadrants and the Communal Militia Units in the 5,336 Communal Circuits, guaranteeing the security and integral defense of the territory. These strategic lines seek to consolidate the transition towards communal socialism in Venezuela.
