Vice President Rodríguez: CBBI and PSUV form a popular force to defend Venezuela

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, stated that the formation of the Bolivarian Base Committees (CBBI) and the reorganization of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) constitute a popular force for the defense of Venezuela. These statements were made during a communal assembly in the La Pastora parish of Caracas.

The high-ranking official indicated that these actions mark the beginning of a new stage to guarantee the future of the nation. Likewise, she emphasized that these mechanisms are geared toward consolidating peace, national development, and the social well-being of the Venezuelan people.

Vice President Rodríguez highlighted that the committees strengthen democratic practice through collective leadership. She underscored that these structures represent true cells of national defense that operate under the principles of participatory democracy:

“What these assemblies tell to the Venezuelan people is to unite in order to keep advancing in our country,” she expressed. She added that this process constitutes a profound exercise in participatory democracy, as established in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Faced with external threats, he emphasized the need for constant preparedness in defense of sovereignty. She specified that Venezuela only receives orders from its organized people, reflecting a powerful popular unity.

This unity is embodied in the popular-military-police integration for the comprehensive defense of the nation. It represents a coordinated strategy between state institutions and the organized People’s Power.

Finally, she reiterated the government’s commitment to protecting national sovereignty. The collaboration between the PSUV and the CBBI consolidates the integral defense model based on citizen participation.
