As a powerful response to international media campaigns against the country, was presented the exhibition «Venezuela, If You Come, You’ll Understand» (If You Come, You’ll Understand it). The initiative was presented by the president of Marca País Venezuela (Country Brand Venezuela), Daniella Cabello, along with President Nicolás Maduro, with the aim of showcasing the nation’s true strengths.
The opening ceremony took place during the broadcast of the «Con Maduro+” program number 95, from the new Casa de la Libertad y de la Cultura Alí Primera (Alí Primera House of Liberty and Culture). The national dignitary toured each of the spaces that make up this exhibition, designed to counter the negative narrative disseminated by foreign media:
«They have tried to attack us, they have tried to steal our identity, they have tried to say all sorts of outrageous things about Venezuela” stated President Maduro during his visit to the exhibition. The exhibition aims precisely to refute these narratives through tangible experiences.
Daniella Cabello explained the fundamental purpose of the initiative: “At Marca País we work with passion, Mr. President, because we believe in the capabilities we have”. The “Si vienes, lo entiendes” (If you come, you’ll understand it) campaign seeks to demonstrate the true essence of Venezuela and generate new investments in the country.
The exhibition includes tastings of Venezuelan products available for purchase, traditional dance performances, and interactive spaces for children. These elements aim to recapture Venezuelan identity and showcase cultural roots from different regions of the country.
The exhibition will be open for the next 10 days, offering an alternative perspective on Venezuela. Through this sensory and cultural experience, the organizers intend for visitors to discover the reality of the country for themselves, beyond the international headlines.
