The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed through his official channel on Telegram the integral development of Operation «Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi 200» in Nueva Esparta state. The national leader reaffirmed that this deployment’s fundamental objective is the integral defense of the insular entity.
The Head of State highlighted the effectiveness of the maneuvers carried out by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in the region: «What a great capacity for action by the People-Military-Police Fusion. We are winning peace with sovereignty and equality. Long live the homeland”, stated President Maduro in his digital publication.
For his part, the Commander of the Integral Defense Operational Zone (ZODI-71), Admiral Carlos Luque Solórzano, explained that the FANB is maintaining a coordinated deployment by air, sea, and land. This mobilization is being carried out under the principle of civil-military-police cooperation with the goal of keeping the territory free of drug trafficking-related activities.
Admiral Luque Solórzano added that this operation consolidates the operational readiness levels of the national defense system. The execution of these actions strengthens institutional capacities for the defense of sovereignty and territorial integrity against potential external threats.
The operation represents a demonstration of the FANB’s joint deployment capacity in the island territorial sphere, aligned with the objectives of preserving peace and stability in the region.
