President Nicolás Maduro described the international support the country has received at the United Nations (UN) over the past year as a gigantic victory. He stated this during his appearance on the 92nd «Con Maduro+» program, during the “Presidential Week” segment.
«I can say, as former Chancellor and as someone who knows about these things, Venezuela’s participation and support at the United Nations has truly been a resounding success”, stressed the President. Maduro emphasized that he cannot recall a year with as much support for the country in this multilateral organization as the current one.
Beyond the diplomatic achievements, the president also referred to the national progress of the Great Mission Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán for Science, Technology, and Innovation. He specified that this program promotes strategic areas such as agriculture, health, education, and even Artificial Intelligence.
In the internal field, the President highlighted a meeting with organized communities, specifically in the “Legado de Chávez” (Chávez Legacy) Commune. He emphasized the role of organized communities and, in particular, the leadership of youth in charge of Circuits and Communal Councils, whom he considered «owners of the present and guarantors of the future.»
The president also made a spiritual and political reference, asking for strength to «defeat the Satan of the empires.» He asserted that the power of God will always prevail over the threats that, in his view, seek to destroy the nation.
Finally, Maduro commemorated the anniversary of the Anti-Blockade Law, passed in 2020. This legislation was created to counteract the impact of international economic sanctions, an issue that remains at the center of the Venezuelan government’s agenda.
