The Venezuelan Council of State, led by President Nicolás Maduro, is in permanent session to finalize a series of defensive decrees. The objective is to counter imperial threats from the United States (US) that violate international law.

From Miraflores Palace, the head of state highlighted the exhaustive work of his team in drafting these instruments. Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and senior representatives of the Judicial, Legislative, and Public Ministry branches are participating in the creation of these decrees, defined as peacekeeping resources in the face of possible military aggression.

The president emphasized the growing international rejection of the false US narrative against Venezuela. In his statements, he noted that organizations such as the UN and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) have expressed their opposition to what has been proven to be a «crude and false narrative» by Washington.

«There is a growing rejection within the United Nations Oganization (…) against constructing a narrative defeated by its own falsehood against a country with republican institutions like Venezuela,» detailed President Maduro during the session.

In addition to these legal resources, the Venezuelan government has activated the Simón Bolívar National Plan for Sovereignty and Peace. This strategy includes the creation of Communal Militia Units in more than 5,300 Communal Districts nationwide.

This plan is framed within the concept of «Permanent Active and Defensive Resistance,» consolidating an integral response that combines legal and operational measures to defend national sovereignty against external pressures.
