President Maduro: Attacks against Venezuela are an immoral narrative

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, firmly referred to what he called an «immoral narrative» constructed against the country. He asserted that it is a «clumsy attack that no one believes,» rejecting international and media criticism.

In his remarks, the Venezuelan president emphasized that the nation’s greatest strength lies in its spirituality and truth: «We are a noble and hardworking people,» he expressed, highlighting the values of the Venezuelan people as their main shield against these accusations.

The head of state argued that citizens know their own history and strength, which allows them to identify these narratives as false. He emphasized that the decent, noble, and enterprising character of the Venezuelans overcomes any difficulty or campaign against them.

He made a call for national defense, stating that the target of these attacks is not a single individual, but the entire nation: “It is an entire society that must defend itself from insults and infamy,” he emphasized in a message through his channel on Telegram.

In this regard, he emphasized that the unity of all sectors of the country is the fundamental path to containing and defeating any threat. Peace, in his words, will only be achieved through unity and the collective defense of the homeland.

The Venezuelan government’s position thus reiterates its rejection of external criticism, calling for internal cohesion as the primary response to confronting attacks on its sovereignty and integrity.
