In a meeting with the Youth General Staff and the Council of Sectoral Vice Presidents, Minister for Youth Sergio Lotartaro highlighted the success of the first National Youth Consultation, where 47% of the initiatives presented were focused on social areas, in line with the T4 axis of the Seven Great Transformations (7T).

Lotartaro emphasized the enthusiasm and commitment of young people during the assemblies held in the 25 states of the country: «It was exciting to see our youth dream and build proposals for their communities. With more than 37,000 projects registered and validated by the National Electoral Council (CNE), we reaffirm the legacy of participatory democracy left to us by the eternal Commander Hugo Chávez,» he expressed.

Likewise, the minister acknowledged the trust placed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in the new generation, stressing their capacity for leadership, collective vision, and patriotic roots.

For his part, the Minister for Communes, Ángel Prado, described the consultation as a milestone in popular participation and the emergence of new youth referents: «These young people are seeds of change; many will assume roles as spokespersons due to their outstanding leadership skills,» he affirmed.

During the event, the head of state highlighted the role of the «Golden Youth,» by emphasizing their contribution to building values and social struggle. A total of 5,336 approved projects were officially approved, a record number that reflects the massive impact of the consultation.

In order to ensure the following-up, the Council of Sectoral Vice Presidents will activate a coordination plan with ministers, governors, mayors, and other authorities to implement the proposals and strengthen community well-being.
