In an event of profound historical and political significance, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the People’s Republic of China commemorate the 51st anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.
President Maduro expressed his joy at this important occasion, highlighting the timeliness and precision of the decision to establish a strategic «all-time and under all circumstances” partnership.
In a message posted on social media, Maduro extended his cordial greetings to Chinese President Xi Jinping and the brotherly Chinese people, reiterating Venezuela’s loyalty and commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation:
«In Venezuela, you can count on loyal friends, ready to continue working for a multipolar world and the construction of a community of shared destiny,» stated the president.
He also highlighted the progress achieved over more than five decades of collaboration. He emphasized: «We have sealed rock-solid agreements in multiple areas, advancing in investment, technology, and markets.»
He maintained that these relations are a model of cooperation based on respect, equality, and intercultural dialogue, reflecting what the world should aspire to build.
