This Tuesday, flight number 33 of the Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Great Mission arrived in Venezuela with 135 Venezuelan migrants coming from Texas, United States (USA).
The Venezuelans arrived at the Simón Bolívar International Airport, La Guaira state, on a US aircraft that is part of this social program promoted by the Bolivarian Government.
In this regard, the president of the Great Mission Vuelta a la Patria, Camilla Fabri de Saab, and the authorities of the institutions that guarantee the various security protocols, welcomed the Venezuelans.
The national government also rescued the migrants who suffered humiliating treatment and illegal detention without due process, actions denounced by Venezuela.
Last week, 293 Venezuelans returned to the country on two flights. One on Tuesday, directly from the US, and another on Wednesday, also from the United States but with a stopover in Honduras.
To date, more than 5,600 Venezuelans have returned to the country in 2025, as part of the strategy promoted by the Executive Branch to advance family reunification for those who were deceived by right-wing groups into leaving their country.
Likewise, Venezuela issued a travel alert in early June, advising Venezuelans against any travel to the US.
In a statement, Chancellor Yván Gil urged Venezuelan citizens currently residing in the US to consider leaving the country, where many are victims of a pattern of human rights violations.
