Venezuela reaffirms strategic alliance with China at high-level meeting

In an event with a clear left-wing political stance, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, welcomed at the Simón Bolívar Hall an important delegation from the People’s Republic of China.

These were high-level representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, accompanied by Mr. Wu Hansheng, Minister of the Department of Social Work.

This visit reaffirms Venezuela’s willingness to consolidate cooperation based on sovereignty, social justice, and the defense of a new international order.

Strengthening Political and Ideological Ties:

The presence of delegates from the Communist Party of China and the Ministry of Social Work reflects a concrete political intention: to deepen joint work between the two countries in the diplomatic, social, and economic spheres.

The «All Proof-All Times» alliance, as expressed by both leaders at their meeting in the Russian Federation in May of this year, seeks to transform the bilateral relationship into a platform that promotes sovereignty and equality among nations, moving away from the interventionist and dominant policies of global capitalism.

Prior to the meeting, Venezuelan Chancellor Yván Gil announced via social media that the meeting with Wu Hansheng, current Minister of the CCP’s Department of Social Work, represents an important step in the joint roadmap for both countries.

Gil emphasized that «continuous dialogue» aims to build just societies and establish a «new international order based on sovereignty, equity, and comprehensive development.»

A strategic focus on social and cultural cooperation:

The presence of officials from the Communist Party of China and the Ministry of Social Work demonstrates the interest in strengthening ties between political parties and promoting social development models that contribute to the construction of an anti-imperialist geopolitics.

The visit seeks to strengthen ties in the areas of economic cooperation, energy, cultural exchanges, and social programs that benefit our communities.
