The Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López reported through his account on Instagram that, last Sunday, June 1, they supported the indigenous community, who voted to elect their representatives to the National Assembly and Legislative Councils:
«Happy start of the week, beloved Homeland! We are working here for the FANB, the Homeland, and our people. President Nicolás Maduro has called on us all to make the necessary institutional transformations for this new era that is destined for great victories. Onward!» he emphasized during a meeting with members of the Military High Command.
He also indicated that they are continuously working for social well-being in the political sphere:
«We are going to begin this week of work with good instructions to begin the work. To the people of Venezuela, we say: «We are working hard in this new phase, this new phase that is shaped by circumstances, by the political life of the country, by global and geopolitical circumstances,» he emphasized.
He also added that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces are doing their job, defending territorial integrity, defending national sovereignty, defending all the country’s territorial spaces, defending Guayana Esequiba.
Padrino López affirmed that the FANB continues working for the country’s security: «Now that we are building a new, authentic, direct democracy from the grassroots, the entire Armed Forces are striving for those people, making the 7 Transformations that our Commander in Chief has asked of us and the people of Venezuela in order to advance in the prosperity and development of Venezuela”, he stated.
