National Assembly proposal for 2026-2031 focuses on building nine legal codes

The candidate for deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, mentioned that for the 2026-2031 term, the candidates’ proposal is focused on building nine legal codes in key areas such as social, educational, productive and commercial, criminal, communal, and environmental matters, among others.

Rodríguez emphasized that the revolutionary candidates are leaders who come from the communities themselves and who, despite adverse circumstances, have not abandoned the Venezuelan people: «They are people who did not back down, who when things got tough, stayed with the people, seeking to solve the problems,» he noted.

At the same time, he recalled the damages caused by the Venezuelan opposition when they led the National Assembly in 2015, when the legislative branch was used as a business to exploit the suffering of the Venezuelan people and attempted to destroy the country, besides continuing the sanctions, and imposed Juan Guaidó’s «interim» government to steal the resources of the Bolivarian nation.

Along these lines, he noted that 92 laws have been passed in the current National Assembly, including the New Enterprises Law, the Special Economic Zones Law, the Guayana Esequiba Law, the Law for Integral Care for People with Autism Spectrum Disorders, the Law for the Protection of Women, and the Organic Law for the Care and Integral Development of Older Adults.
