«We have already brought back more than 5,000 migrants who were in United States (US) prisons”, reported the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the celebration of the Venezuelan Family Day.
In this regard, the President denounced that the US has committed acts of injustice and aggression against Venezuelan families outside the country, because they are being victims of racism and slander, due to being associated with the Tren de Aragua (Aragua Train, defunct criminal gang), simply for being migrants.
«Our migrants are hardworking and honest people. Migrating is not a crime, but persecuting, torturing, and disappearing migrants is,» asserted the Venezuelan dignitaries, who also added that «sanctioning a country is also a crime.»
Consequently, he pointed out that these actions were carried out by the far-right wing leader María Corina Machado, with the support of the US empire, this being the reason why he stressed that “the day millions of Venezuelan girls and boys took to the streets to demand the freedom of kidnapped migrants, things began to change, because unity made the force.»
In this context, the Venezuelan leader reiterated once again that all Venezuelan women and men will return safe, sound, and free to their homeland.
