In a message disseminated through social media, President Nicolás Maduro expressed his strong support for the candidates of the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar (GPPSB) for the governorships of the country’s 24 states.
In his message, he emphasized the importance of unity and the mobilization of the Bolivarian and Chavista people in the context of the upcoming regional elections.
In this context, Maduro stressed the need to work together to build a prosperous, independent, and sovereign Venezuela:
“I have tuned in, and have seen on social media, the true outpouring, inch by inch, of the Bolivarian and Chavista people. This April 4th was a colorful and exciting day, inspired by our singer Alí Primera. With him, we say: Let the fire burn! His songs sustain and propel us on this revolutionary path,” he stated.
The president also highlighted the extraordinary participation of the people in rallies in several states, where the closeness between citizens and their regional leaders was evident.
He also mentioned key figures from the GPPSB who are committed to mobilizing and supporting their respective candidacies.
“I extend my hand to you so that together we can make the dream of a prosperous, independent, and sovereign Venezuela a reality. I’m counting on you, brother and sister!” he urged.
He also called for unity and commitment in the defense of the nation.
