The Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, ratified the commitment of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) in its duties of protecting national sovereignty against the most recent maneuvers of national and international ultra-right wing factors, including former Colombian presidents Iván Duque and Álvaro Uribe, with the intention of altering the peace of the Republic with calls for a military invasion:
“We are prepared, my Commander in Chief Nicolás Maduro. We have a strengthened Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) ready to defend Venezuela’s sovereignty,» Padrino López stressed to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Thursday, through a publication on his account on the Instagram social network, one day after the Annual Message addressed to the nation by the national leader, from a special session of the National Assembly (AN)… “Do not get it wrong, because in here we are resolved to preserve peace,» stressed Padrino López to the extremists.
The message is accompanied by an audiovisual material that contains the moment when President Maduro instructed the FANB, all its components, the police forces of intelligence and counterintelligence and the People’s Power not to lower their guard against threats against the nation.
«Let us take the criminal threats from narco-paramilitaries Álvaro Uribe and Iván Duque seriously, and let’s get ourselves prepared because this land will never accept the insolent boot of paramilitaries, neither foreigners nor imperialists,» said the Commander-in-Chief of the FANB.
