This Monday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that the Government of Argentina is linked to destabilizing plans by the extreme right wing against the country.
In this sense, he detailed that, as announced by the Minister for Internal Affairs, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, 125 mercenaries of different nationalities were arrested for their involvement in terrorist acts against Venezuela.
He added that among the objectives of these subjects was to directly attack the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez:
«Some kind of leader went the fascist right wing to look for with Milei,» declared the president during a work meeting with the sectoral vice presidents of the country, together with the high military command and representatives of the security forces. “It is not up to me to give details,” said President Maduro, referring to the investigations being carried out by Venezuelan institutions, and reiterated that the group of mercenaries sought to generate destabilizing actions: “As Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) I feel proud because we have offered peace and stability to our people in the face of threats. Stay on guard and ready for permanent combat!” he added.
Regarding the inauguration, he asserted that “there will be no fascism” that can stop the inauguration on January 10 at the headquarters of the National Assembly. He assured that they will demonstrate that “the people are determined not to be dominated” by the oligarchies.
