The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that from this Tuesday, October 1, until January 15, 2025, the Happy Christmas will be celebrated throughout the national territory: “We have to be in celebration, happiness and in permanent partying.”
During the broadcast of the “Con Maduro+”program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the head of State indicated that the 540,000 cultors registered in the Great Mission “Viva Venezuela, Mi Patria Querida” must occupy all the spaces that are necessary during the Happy Christmas 2024.
Regarding the statements of spokespersons of the Episcopal Conference of Venezuela (CEV), in which they “reject” the advance of Christmas in the country, the Venezuelan president spoke out on the matter:
“Some guys in cassocks came out to say that there would be no Christmas if they did not decree it, just as they did in the coup d’état of 2002. But no, you do not decree anything, Christmas belongs to the people, and the people decides when and on what date it is,” said Maduro.
It is worth mentioning that only in revolution is it possible to build happiness, sharing, respect for family values and the rescue of national identity, which is rich in customs, food, music, rhythms and everything that represents the identity of the people.
