President Maduro will ask the parliamentarian for a law so that businessmen make a special contribution for pensioners

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced that next Tuesday, as part of the Great Mission Grandfathers and Grandmothers Mission, the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, will introduce before the National Assembly (AN), the Special Law Project of Contribution of Employers for the Protection of Pensions against the imperialist blockade, in the context of tax justice:

“So that the country’s businessmen, the country’s employers, make a single special monthly contribution, according to their net income, so that this contribution captured in this law and in a new fund, goes to improve the pensions of the country and of the income of pensioners significantly,” he added.

Therefore, the head of state assured that he will not rest “Not for a single second, until we bring the income and rights of workers up to the levels that Commander Chávez left us, with our own efforts, with a productive economy and generation of wealth.”

For her part, Vice President Rodríguez assured that this bill is justice for pensioners so that this social contribution means one more step towards equality: “This is justice for our pensioners, and that social contribution is also the expression of all the wealth that has been generated in this economic growth, progressively the Venezuelan people have been recovering (…) This is distributing the wealth among everyone.”

She stressed that the spirit of this bill is inspired by the grandfathers and grandmothers “to do justice and also to have this as an instrument of social equality, we have already advanced, and we are ready to go to the National Assembly on Tuesday, following your instructions, president”
