COVID: Venezuela registered 50 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 50 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours, of which 13 are community cases and 37 cases came from the Dominican Republic (15), Panama (13), Colombia (4), Spain (3), Türkiye (2); to sum a total of 547,891 confirmed accumulated cases to this day.

This was announced this Monday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account on the Twitter social network, @luchaalmada.

Community cases are located in: Caracas (5), Miranda (5), La Guaira (1), Monagas (1) and Anzoátegui (1).

On day 995 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country registers 5,829 as the total number of deceases. The number of recovered patients is 540,991 and there are 1,071 current active cases.
