In the company of the first combatant woman, Cilia Flores, and cultural sectors of the country, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros officially activated the Great Mission Viva Venezuela mi Patria Querida (Viva Venezuela My Beloved Homeland), which was born to enhance, preserve and disseminate the traditional values of the nation, an activity that took place in the spaces of the Teresa Carreño Theater, located in Caracas.

Cultural presentations:

The event was full of cultural activities that began with the presentation of traditional dances, songs, among others, such as the interpretation of a Cuatro solo by Isidro Landaeta with Bolívar and Guárico, in addition to Francisco Pacheco, who sang some notes to welcome to the Great Mission Long Live Venezuela Mi Patria QUerida.

As part of this initiative, the Bogado Brothers (Eveling, Emily and Edward) presented the song “Nuestra Música Central” (Our Central Music), while Yustardi Laza and José Delgado came to the stage with “Lo que da Razón al Diente” (What gives reson to the teeth). Juan Carlos Ekmeiro and Justo Montenegro were in charge of singing to the public present at the Teresa Carreño a Zulian décima, followed by the characteristic music of Lara and Miranda states by the group Golperos del Tocuyo, made up of Juan Pérez, Jesús Berenzola and Daniel Gilismael Querales.

For her part, the singer Lilia Vera delighted the authorities of the Bolivarian Government with a Gaita de Tambora and a Décima y Fulía performed by the group Voces Risueñas de Carayaca, accompanied by the musicians Florencio Pantoja and Gerónimo Escobar, from Todasana.

The César Rengifo Children’s Theater Group was in charge of dancing to the sound of the Calypso de El Callao, whose creation is made from a rhythmic percussion battery based on the bumbac, accompanied by charrasca, bell or cowbell, cuatro and maracas. It is important to remember that the creation of this program was announced by the head of state on February 4, an opportunity in which he emphasized that this initiative is important for the people, “but above all for the boys and girls, for the schools, because it has to do with the rescue of our values, our music, our songs, our dances, the rescue of what is ours that is so powerful.”

This Great Mission will work in coordination with the Corazón Adentro Culture Mission, created by Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez, while incorporating musical and cultural groups.
