Head of State denounces extremist sectors intend to sabotage elections

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced the extremist sectors of the country for their attempts to sabotage and prevent the electoral elections that are scheduled for 2024, at the same time he called on the people to remain in calm and sanity, because what is established in the Constitution will be enforced.

From the Solemn Opening Session of the 2024 Judicial Year that was held at the main headquarters of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) in Caracas, the head of state highlighted: “Once again, they threaten the people of Venezuela to impede, sabotage and attack the next electoral process, which is a constitutional mandate.”

Given the threats of destabilization, the head of state reaffirmed his support for the inclusive dialogue process convened by the National Assembly to establish the 2024 electoral schedule, “I subordinate myself to the proposals and decisions that arise from that dialogue.”

He reiterated his congratulations to the president of the Legislative Branch, Jorge Rodríguez, for his work in the peace dialogues with the terrorist sectors of the extreme Venezuelan opposition with the purpose of carrying out a transversal and inclusive dialogue, where all sectors of the Bolivarian nation are summoned:

We must maintain the permanent spirit of transversal dialogue, of search, of understanding, of the defense of national sovereignty and of the defense of peace,” he pointed out.
