When speaking about the importance of constantly building ethics and morals in the Bolivarian Revolution to continue strengthening values such as love for the Homeland and solidarity, the president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, urged each leading man and woman who makes up the Great Patriotic Pole to remain connected with ordinary men and women, with their expectations and truths:
“The Revolution must always demonstrate that from an ethical, moral and spiritual point of view it is the standard bearer of a new Venezuelan identity, based on love for the Homeland, sacrifice, work, dedication, service to the people,” he pointed out.
Likewise, he instructed to maintain humility and “never, no matter what position we hold, we must never cease being a people,” as well as reminding them that their service “is for a historical cause greater than any of us.”
“We have built a new ethics of power, hand to hand against the anti-values of individualism, against the pettiness of capitalism, against egocentrism,” he stressed.
