New phase of defense begins after departure of British ship on the Atlantic façade

After the British ship left the Atlantic façade, the Sectoral Vice President for Sovereignty, Security and Peace, G/J Vladimir Padrino López highlighted through a message published on his account on the X social network, that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB ) withdrew military units from the Gulf of Paria:

“Given the departure of the British warship HMS “Trent”, C/J Nicolás Maduro ordered to move to a new phase of the Joint Action Exercise “Domingo Antonio Sifontes” and to withdraw part of the air-naval assets to their respective bases,” as highlighted Padrino Lopez.

Given the provocation by the British ship near the coast of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, the Sectoral Vice President for Sovereignty, Security and Peace, expressed that the FANB will remain “alert and vigilant against any provocation while we hope for the Argyle agreements to be respected, which today are undoubtedly a guarantee of peace in the region.”
