48 days after the launch of the Great Mission Women Venezuela, 4,360,,133 women have expressed their interest in the six vertices aimed at guaranteeing the efficiency of social services and protection systems for Venezuelan women.
In a balance presented regarding the progress of the third vertex Women, as an independent economic subject, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, detailed that Zulia state leads the registration, followed by Miranda, Carabobo, Caracas, Lara, Miranda and Anzoátegui states.
In this regard, 41.4% of women are signed up to the Protection of the health and life of women at all stages, while 26.1% are attached to the Education for the empowerment of Venezuelan women and 14.7% to Women. independent economic subject, in relation to the latter – the Head of State – stressed that “we have to reach everyone so that they feel supported and unleash their creativity.”
8.6% of women are registered in the Eradication of violence against women and timely gender justice, which must lead to concrete advances “in education, prevention and justice to achieve zero gender violence”; 8.2% are linked to Women, protagonist and their participation in Venezuela and 1.3% to the Communication and Culture System.
A new space for production:
Based on the proposal of entrepreneur Scarlett Madrid, the Venezuelan president authorized the construction of a center for the production of textile pieces in the San Antonio sector, located in the El Valle parish (Caracas).
In this sense, he entrusted the Minister of People’s Power for the Office of the Presidency and Monitoring of Government Management, Jorge Márquez, to immediately inspect the space to begin the engineering works that lead to the materialization of the production center:
“Immediately, minister –Jorge- Márquez, you leave for San Antonio, you raise up the conditions (…) The construction of the economic space for the women of El Valle has been approved,” he stressed.
