The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said on Monday that the capture of the material author of the assassination in degree of frustration against him was possible thanks to the collaboration of citizens and the specialized work of SEBIN (Intelligence agency).
“The capture of this man was possible thanks to a tip-off of the people”, he said regarding the apprehension of new people involved in the terrorist attack on August 4 on the Bolivar Avenue (downtown Caracas), during the commemoration of the 81st anniversary and the day of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB).
Henrybert Enmanuel Rivas Vivas, a.k.a. “Morfeo”, was arrested last Saturday in the early hours of the morning, thanks to the informative contribution made by the people regarding the search for those involved in the executed terrorist act that has been disclosed in the communication media and social networks.
The national President reported that this material author and others involved “have confessed that all were located, summoned and also incorporated – into the magnicidal plan – because they were within the structures of violence of the Venezuelan extreme right wing”.
“These people are subject to the law, anyone who wants to support terrorist groups shall end this way, because in the end they will be judged for the crimes they have committed”, he said.
