Venezuela builds diplomatic ties based on respect and solidarity

Through the X social network, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, affirmed the country is an example to the world, for the diplomatic relations it has built over the years, based on respect, sovereignty, independence, joint work and solidarity.

According to the documentation of Venezuela’s historical rights over Guayana Essequiba, the head of State has reiterated to bring a clear and direct proposal of the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy to the world, with the purpose of moving towards a solution, as part of the Geneva Agreement established in 1966.

He asserted that it is necessary to recover the historical and legal right of the territory in dispute with Guyana, and predicted the victory and unity of the Venezuelan people in the consultation through a consultative referendum, which is the fifth consensus reached by the political high command:

What is the greatest achievement of our country in these years of active combat? I would say: social peace, political peace, peace of the people, peace of the Republic,” highlighted the national leader during a working meeting with governors, deputies and members of the country’s military command.

Given the above, the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, also recalled that the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, promoted by Commander Hugo Chávez, has always been aimed at consolidating a consensus so that the 1966 Geneva Agreement is fulfilled.

Venezuela is an example to the world, for the diplomatic ties that we have built over years, based on respect, sovereignty, independence, joint work and solidarity. We will continue working for the integration and Peace of the people!”
