The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, delivered this Monday the milestone of 4,300,000 housings through the Gran Misión Vivienda Venezuela (Great Mission Housing Venezuela – GMVV).
This historic delivery took place in Lara state, from where the president reiterated his will to achieve the construction of 5 million decent homes for the people of Venezuela:
“Only in Revolution is it possible! We did it! 4,300,000 housings. We are going along the path of Chávez, building well-being for the Venezuelan people”, affirmed the Head of State from the Ciudad Bicentenaria IFE urbanism located in Barquisimeto.
This urbanization has an Integral Diagnostic Center (CDI), a pharmacy, a Simoncito “Fruto Vivas” Bolivarian Initial Education Center, a sports field, a peace quadrant to guarantee the security of the sector and a land transport route, which will allow the access of its inhabitants.
The complex benefits 74 families of workers from the State Railway Institute (IFE) and 22 families from the organized people’s power, for a total of 96 beneficiary families who, through self-construction, guarantee a decent space for good living. of a population of 296 people who will live in the sector.
In his message, President Nicolás Maduro pointed out that “the figure we are achieving is enormous, so much so that the international media are going to publish it. You have to see the path traveled and the path to be followed. We have done it with criminal sanctions,” he said.
He added that the homes delivered to date are equivalent to going around the globe 26 times.
“Without the working class, this would have been impossible. To build these 4,300,000 homes, 34,888,113 tons of cement were used,” he said, confirming that by 2024, 5 million homes or more will be built.
Homes delivered in Falcón, Trujillo, Anzoátegui and Barinas states:
During this simultaneous national journey, from Falcón state, the governor of that entity, Víctor Clarck, delivered 40 two-family housings in the Miranda de Coro municipality, in the Las Eugenias urban development.
Clark explained that this time they are delivering the housingss of the eighth stage of urban planning, which in its entirety includes 200 houses.
From Barinas, the Vice Minister of Management, Supervision and Monitoring of Works, Osmel Mejías, in the company of the mayor of the Barinas municipality, Rafael Paredes; and the commander of the Zodi-32 – Barinas, G/D José Serrano, explained that, with the delivery of the 100 houses in the Puerta del Llano Urbanism, 300 families are favored, which in turn will have services from the Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) and nearby educational centers.
In the eastern part of the country, in the Simón Bolívar municipality, in the Anzoátegui state, the entity’s governor, Luís Marcano, specified that with the delivery of 64 housings, 236 will remain under construction, in their different construction phases.
From Trujillo, the governor of the entity, Gerardo Márquez, delivered 100 housings to families of Trujillo, a granting which subtracts the execution of another 580 new homes in the Urbanism “Terraza de Jalisco”, which includes the construction of 720 homes.

On other issues, President Nicolás Maduro congratulated the Emir of Qatar for the extraordinary organization of the 2022 Soccer World Cup. “Despite the fact that they tried to sabotage and prevent it, it was a level event, the best in the world. Qatar comes out shining and victorious,” he noted.
