During a work journey with the Productive Councils of Workers and Workers (CPT) in the “Ana María Campos” Petrochemical Complex, located in the Miranda municipality of Zulia state, President Nicolás Maduro, called for the installation of the 3rd Congress of the working workers class next January 16 and 17, 2023:
“We are going to give 60 days to prepare a great congress of the CPT, a productive, scientific and technical congress to discuss the management model of the socialist revolution in the Venezuelan economy (…) there is no socialism without the people, without the working class”, instructed the Head of State.
He explained that to date the country has more than 3,000 Workers’ Productive Councils (CPT) and 12,734 spokespersons, of whom 43.8% are women.
Great Scientific-Technical Center of the CPT:
He announced that in this 3rd Congress of the working class the following will be discussed and defined:
1.- Manual of the Bolivarian socialist management model of the 21st century.
2.- Approval of the regulation of the Organic Law that rules the CPT.
3.- To define all the capacity and coordination instance for the scientific and technical potential of the CPT and of all public and private companies in the country.
4.- Construction of an integral training system for the working class and their families.
5.- To promote the forms of organization of companies from the CPT.
He also specified that one of the objectives is to create a large scientific-technical center for the CPT, which allows the development of applied science and technology in the productive processes of the companies:
“We are seeing the productive capacities recovered, we are recovering the economy step by step, there is still a long way to go before the recovery of the capacity to 100% of the Venezuelan economy, and we are working on that, so that our country is a power Homeland of social happiness, of the living by living of all Venezuelan men and women”.
Finally, he urged the working class of the Complex to build a new socialist, productive, efficient, effective and honest management model “that responds to the Bolivarian socialism model, a democratic management model, with a high scientific and technological level of the 21st century”.
