Venezuela regrets death of US activist Chuck Kaufman

Through his account on the Twitter social network, the Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Feliz Plascencia, expressed deep sadness for the American activist, Chuck Kaufman, whom he described as a defender of just causes and a supportive friend of Venezuela.

The official website of the organization Alliance for Global Justice indicated that the national coordinator died this Tuesday, December 28, at his home in Tucson Arizona, after a brief illness.

Chuck Kaufman denounced the manipulation by the US on Latin America, through the National Endowment for democracy; he was at the forefront of solidarity movements with Latin America and the Caribbean; he led accompanying delegations in Nicaragua, Venezuela, Haiti and Honduras.
