Isturiz: The opposition does not want to revoke, their goal is violence

The opposition does not want a revoking (referendum), their goal is violence, destabilization and anguish, while the Bolivarian Government under the leadership of President Nicolas Maduro is looking day by day for the peace and tranquility of the country.
This was said on Monday by the Vice President of the Republic, Aristobulo Isturiz, from the Bolivar Theater, in downtown Caracas, where was held the act of empowering of the National Preparatory Committee of the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students, which will be held next year in Russia.
He said that the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, will not renounce to his charge, at the demands of some sectors of the opposition. “(…) They have asked (Maduro) for his resignation, he will not resign. They say they will give him a (revoking) referendum, you can be sure that there will be no referendum this year”, he expressed.
Regarding the sad role of the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, who requested the activation of the Democratic Charter against Venezuela, he said that, out of shame, he (Almagro) should renounce to the OAS, and apologize to the people of Venezuela.
The Vice President manifested that Venezuela needs the support and solidarity of the peoples who are fighting for social justice, and therefore he demanded: “Either you are with the people or you are with the oligarchy. Everyone must assume its place”.
He added that: “Venezuela is a victim of a process of insecurity induced by the paramilitarism of (former Colombian president Alvaro) Uribe”. He also argued that the people has been affected with a “induced inflation and shortages”.
