COVID: Venezuela registers 344 new community cases and 11 imported cases

This Tuesday, Venezuela registered a total of 344 cases of community transmission of coronavirus and 11 imported cases, thus raising the total number of infections to 100,498, while the rate of recovered patients stands at 95% of all cases, by registering 95,344 cured patients.

This was reported by the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, through her account on the Twitter social network @drodriven2.

In this regard, she listed the cases of community transmission in the country by State:

Lara: 102 new cases

Yaracuy: 62 new cases

Zulia: 33 new cases

Capital District: 32 new cases

Miranda: 30 new cases

Merida: 24 new cases

Carabobo: 19 new cases

La Guaira: 13 new cases

Aragua: 6 new cases

Trujillo: 5 new cases

Falcón: 5 new cases

Guarico: 5 new cases

Barinas: 4 new cases

Amazon: 2 new cases

Nueva Esparta: 1 new case

Bolívar: 1 new case

In this sense, Delcy Rodríguez also explained that the state with the highest number of community cases is Lara, with 102 cases, with a total of 7 active municipalities; followed by the entities: Yaracuy with 62 cases, and Zulia state, with 33 cases.

She also added that the imported cases are all coming from Colombia.

Meanwhile, she added that to date there are 4,278 active cases, of which 4,255 are being treated within the Public Health System and 23 in private clinics.

She also regretted the death of 3 Venezuelans who lost this battle: A 28-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman from Zulia state, and a 83 years old man from Lara state.

Rodríguez also highlighted that the Bolivarian Government “works tirelessly to guarantee free medical care and treatment for each of the cases detected,” added Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez.
