COVID: Venezuela registers 253 new cases in the last 24 hours

253 new cases of COVID-19, 5 of them imported from the Dominican Republic (4) and Cameroon (1), were registered in Venezuela in the last 24 hours, of which Aragua state is the entity with the highest number of cases in 8 of its 18 municipalities for a total of 53 cases, followed by Anzoátegui with 30, Portuguesa with 27, Caracas with 25, Táchira with 24, Miranda with 19 and Yaracuy state with 19 cases.

7 Venezuelans died from Coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 5,306 deceases to date.

647 days after confirming the first case of Covid-19 in Venezuela, 442,431 is the total number of infections, with 430,963 patients recovered and 6,162 current active cases.

Vaccination has been accelerated in the country under instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, which is why Venezuelans are called to go to the vaccination centers without needing a prior appointment to complete their immunization process.
