The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, proclaimed that the Venezuelan people is forging an indestructible and invincible national power, destined to endure for decades to come. The message was spread through his official accounts in social media, accompanied by audiovisual material reflecting the strength and spirit of the nation.
In his intervention, the Head of State highlighted the rebellious, strong, and joyful character of the Venezuelan people, emphasizing that “No one will ever embitter us!” He asserted that this intrinsic quality of the people is the foundation upon which a new model of democracy is being built, described as permanent, popular, and territorial, faithful to the example and legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez.
“This people is building the new model of permanent, popular, and territorial democracy, following the example of the legacy of Commander Chávez,” expressed Maduro. He stressed that this democracy is the genuine power of the people, a spiritual force that connects all citizens and is based on unwavering faith, describing Venezuela as “a people of Almighty God.”
The President emphasized that the national power is built and expressed in the concrete and productive actions of the citizenry. “Venezuelans are the national power, in the factory, in the Workers’ Constituent Assembly, in the Ezequiel Zamora National Peasant Union, in each peasant farm, on every hectare that produces,” he added.
With these declarations, President Maduro reaffirms that Venezuela is a united and strengthened country from its foundations, moving forward in the consolidation of its sovereignty and in the construction of a prosperous future, rooted in the principles of the Homeland of Bolívar.
