Minister El Aissami certifies good health and rejects false news from Reuters against him

The Minister for Petroleum, Tareck El Aissami, certified this Monday that he is in good health after having undergone surgery for an inguinal hernia, and condemned the manipulation incurred by the Reuters news agency with a false publication about a supposed serious health state of his person.

In a video message published on his account on the instagram social network @tareckpsuv, El Aissami thanked all the friends from Venezuela and the world who expressed their solidarity and good wishes in the face of the false information published by the Reuters news agency, which he intended to impose a false matrix about his state of health:

To the workers of PDVSA -Petróleos de Venezuela- my hug, my infinite loyalty to you; also thank all the friends of Venezuela and the world, regarding a false information launched by a news agency called Reuters. How unfortunate. However, here we are, in full health, with this renewed strength to continue carrying out the dream of our liberator Simón Bolívar, the cause of our commander Hugo Chávez”, he said.

In this message, El Aissami reported that he is recovered, after complying with a rigorous and disciplined rest, after undergoing urgent surgery for an inguinal hernia, attesting to this from a court after playing basketball with the deputy to the National Assembly (AN) Hugbel Roa:

«Monday, December 13, happy start of the week. We were surprised by this beautiful morning here in Caracas, a December rain. I want, first of all, to thank God for health, for everyone’s life. Thanks to President Maduro; the first combatant woman, Cilia Flores; Delcy Rodríguez, my sister, vice president; Minister; ministers; colleagues, to everyone, my thanks for your affection, for your care, for your concern”, he said.

He emphasized that this health situation did not prevent him from fulfilling his responsibilities in front of the Ministry of Petroleum:

“I have returned, although I have never ever abandoned my responsibilities, because from rest, with the telephone, we were aware, day by day, of progress, development, collective effort,” he concluded.

For her part, executive vice president Delcy Rodríguez expressed her approval for the news and expressed her best wishes for the recovery and full reincorporation of El Aissami to his responsibilities:

Excellent @TareckPSUV, ready to continue the battle for the development of our people! We shall overcome”, said the executive vice president in a message posted on her account on the twitter social network @delcyrodriguezv:
