The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan arrived in Venezuela this Sunday, October 31, to fulfill a three-day work schedule in which he will meet with Venezuelan authorities.
The visit that responds to the formal invitation made by the Venezuelan State through the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic, occurs within the framework of the institutional relations that Venezuela has maintained with the International Criminal Court since its inception.
On this occasion, Prosecutor Khan is expected to know first-hand the progress of the State institutions and establish a dialogue of positive cooperation, as he has been doing since his ratification of the Rome Statute.
