The Presidential Commission for the Prevention, Attention and Control of the Pandemic reported 1,018 new community transmission Covid-19 infections.
Nueva Esparta state registered the highest number of community cases, specifically 207, in 9 of its 11 municipalities, followed by states Aragua with 141, Caracas with 140 and Lara with 114 cases.
