Bolivarian Government promotes national production from the productive regions of the country


With the firm intention of strengthening the productive apparatus of the country and counteracting the ravages of the economic blockade imposed by the United States, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting with representatives of the Productive Regions of the National Development Plan, with a view to to promote the production of various items within the national territory.
This program, activated by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, is responsible for boosting productivity in the agro-alimentary sector, in order to support the social and economic stability of the people.
It should be noted that the Head of State recently urged the workers of the field to give their utmost to increase Venezuelan manufacturing, in addition to reflecting on the need to establish a productive economy in a self-sustaining manner and respectful of the lands, as well as efficient on the subject of seeds to point towards ecological fertility:
“How do we defeat the economic blockade? By producing corn, producing rice, soybeans, meat, eggs, producing everything. Come on Venezuela, everyone to produce! We can indeed! Let’s produce! It is for our Homeland that we do it, it is the independence of the 21st century, which is about economics, and peaceful”, he said during a work journey at Miraflores Palace.
This is how the Productive Regions are divided, which will contribute to the achievement of economic and agri-food sovereignty:
1- Northwest, which includes Falcón, Yaracuy, Lara and Zulia states
2- Central Western Plains: Apure, Barinas, Cojedes, Guárico and Portuguesa states
3- The Andes: integrated by Mérida, Trujillo, Táchira states and some municipalities of Barinas and Apure states, propellant of agriculture and tourism.
4- Southeast: Bolívar, Amazonas and Delta Amacuro states
5- Northeast: composed by Anzoátegui, Monagas, Nueva Esparta and Sucre states
6- Center-Insular: formed by Aragua, Carabobo, Capital District, Miranda, Vargas states and the Insular Territory.
