President Maduro proposed meetings with the extreme right wing should be public

This Tuesday the president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, ratified his willingness to dialogue with radical sectors, placing on the table 3 key points for its development: Lifting of all sanctions, Recognition of the National Assembly (AN) and the established powers, and returning of confiscated bank accounts and assets.

In this sense, he proposed a fourth point for the dialogue table with the extreme right wing, making it clear that the meetings must be public and the country must know the details of them:

“The fourth point for the beginning of this dialogue is to do it publicly, with cameras, so that the country knows the details and the agreements”, said the president of PSUV.

He also reported that the Norwegian Dialogue Commission is already in the country; and he stressed that the extreme right has accepted the dialogue through Norway, as a great achievement of the National Government. “I want dialogue based on a National Agenda, but for the benefit of the country and to raise the harsh reality of Venezuela”
