Vladimir Padrino describes Colombian irregular groups attacking on the border as cowards

The Minister of People’s Power for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, qualified this Monday as cowards the Colombian irregular groups linked to drug trafficking and paramilitary groups that attack Venezuela from the border.

This is what he said in his account on the Twitter social network. In there, he indicated that “they attack us with explosives and long weapons. They continue to instill terror in the population and believe that by harassing military bases they will intimidate us. They cross the river, make their skirmishes and return to Colombia with the protection of their authorities”.

“They are cowards. Whenever they are captured then they cry and ask for forgiveness, they accuse each other and betray each other. They are a strange species of chameleon-like and heartless mercenaries, driven by drug trafficking who pretend to do here what they do in Colombia. Well, they WILL NOT!”

For his part, the president of the republic, Nicolás Maduro, ordered to have “zero tolerance to the irregular armed groups of Colombia that attack the country.

To this end, he called to prepare to overcome, in defense of the country: “We must prepare ourselves to overcome with the Constitution in hand, to make respect our territory, the people of Venezuela, the Constitution, the human rights and the Bolivarian Revolution of the 21st century, with the Bolivarian Shield”.
